Our goal at Feather Touch Tissues is to create recycled ISOS V bottom paper covers as an eco-friendly alternative to plastic bags. Considering the needs of developing and underdeveloped countries, we devised a cost-effective solution. Traditional square bottom paper covers (SOS) require high investment in manufacturing plants, which drives up costs.
Square bottom paper covers (SOS) are not named solely for their square bottoms. The gusset of SOS covers should be 60%-70% of their width, similar to some plastic carry bags where the gusset is about 70% of the width, making the bottom flat. By adopting the same sizes of SOS covers, we developed our ISOS paper covers to provide a cost-effective solution for shop owners.
In Western countries, SOS paper covers are popular for food items because they allow the bag to stand still, an essential feature for holding items while sitting and eating. This standstill feature is a key reason for developing SOS paper covers with square bottoms. Our ISOS paper covers maintain this functionality while also offering a V bottom design that is cost-effective and eco-friendly.
